Big Bang’s VI, answering fans questions during Han Game live broadcast! “70% is for comedy element, and I love to entertain people..”
Q: What’s your most favorite word in Japanese?
VI: *“Gratitude”. Thanks to all the staffs, we, Big Bang can come up until now. If there’s no help from them, there’s no Big Bang now and we’re really thankful to them, and also we’re thankful to the fans. So, I like the word ‘gratitude’ the most. (* it’s written感謝 read as ‘kansha’ meaning gratitude)
Q: Since you’re busy with your schedule, is there anything you do to pamper yourself?
VI: I always watch TV shows. I watch interesting programs such as variety shows and talk shows and I’ll laugh when watching them. As human, after we laugh, we’ll become high-spirited right? While saying “That’s funny, that’s funny~” (laugh). As I’m in Japan now, when I wake up in the morning, I’ll watch ‘Waratte Iitomo (It’s Okay To Laugh)’ show. When I see Tamori-san does that handclap, I become greatly envious of him. (laugh)

Q: You’re often makes appearance with Japanese entertainers now.
VI: Right now, I think I’ve met most of the comedians and made shows appearance together with many people.
Q: Do you have any favourite comedy gag?
VI: A gag taught by Yamazaki san! He taught me yesterday. “Seung chan will go to Han Game~~~”. Zakiyama san insisted me to use this.(laugh)
Q: Seung chan’s fan meet event will be held soon, and there’s no member with you, aren’t you feeling lonely? Please say something to lift up your spirit!
VI: This is my first time doing my solo fan meet, next stop is in Osaka. For me this is really a good experience to me and this will become a good memory but… other members said, “Are you going to be okay alone?”, I want to reply back to them this, “I’m alright alone!” ”I’m really okay alone, so don’t worry about me!” (laugh)
Q: Right now, you’re preparing so many things right?
VI: 70% of my fan event contains the comedy element. I’m preparing the other 30% to show the artist side of me. (laugh) but 70% is prepared for comedy.
Q: 70% is quite a lot. You’re settled for 70%? Are you sure?
VI: If I pass 80%, my company said it’s not okay (laugh) But, I really love to entertain people.
Q: What are you going to do if you can change yourself with one of Big Bang’s member?
VI: Die! (laugh) I’m Big Bang’s VI, being myself is the best.
Q: Don’t you want to be G-Dragon?
VI: Ah.. For at least once, I want to be TOP san. (laugh) TOP san has a low voice right? I want to have that voice. My voice is not so high and not so low, and since it’s in the middle, I want to experience his voice for once. In contrary, G-Dragon san’s voice is quite high. (laugh)

Q: You grasped their characters so well! Can you do other members’ imitation?
VI: Eh.. I can’t (laugh)

Q: In January this year, “The Files of Young Kindaichi: Hong Kong Kowloon Treasure Murder Case” drama was broadcasted and for the first time you challenged yourself in a Japanese drama!
SR: The script was originally written in Korean but to think that it will lead to my self-confidence, so, I had it changed to Japanese. To convey the meaning of every word was difficult. They were so many words that I rarely use. At first, people around me were being careful since I am an artist and also a foreigner. But for me that was not good so I told them, “If there’s any mistake, please say it to me directly”, after that they really said it to me! Since this is not my area of expertise, I agreed to every opinion. The main cast, Yamada Ryosuke kun also gave me an advice, “Seung chan, for this part you better do like this.” And, if I have a chance, I want to do this again.
Q: We asked him the question that everyone is curious about. The girl that you want to be with is?
SR: The one who is not hiding her cheerfulness, and she uses all of her energy outside. So, I prefer a cheerful woman. In private, Seung chan want to receive energy!

Currently, for any member, work is number one! After we discussed, we conclude that we cannot decide to get married as we please. Since that will only break apart our team’s circle. SR: It’s not about the pose, expression and your dressing, but I think it’s about your life-style. For example, a person who is working hard, I think they are sexy. Sometimes, when I look at Akashiya Sanma san, I feel that he is sexy. When I see him entertaining all of you, I come to know how the man’s sexiness is. Sexy woman? Dan Mitsu san I guess. The name that people around me keep talking about lately. Sanma san also has Dan Mitsu san’s photo book.
Q: The dream stage has become true. First concert in Tokyo Dome
SR: The goal that I thought “Someday” before has become true at the end of last year. 3 years since our Japan’s debut, I am happy we could sing in front of 55000 fans. When there is no cheer from fans in the venue, we will feel so down. But, it was different in Tokyo Dome. So great! I had goose bumps. That was the moment when I’m thankful to be a Big Bang’s member. When Sol san was singing, the other 4 of us were at the dressing room. “Today is awesome right?” “So amazing” “What to do during encore?” we were talking together. After the concert ended, TOP san told us something that he never said before, “Today, I really did my best!”. In my heart, I said, “TOP san thank you”. Actually, at first, there was no plan to do concert in Tokyo Dome. So, for the next time, I want to make a better stage for the domes venue.

When I received the drama offer, I couldn’t believe it and said “This must be kidding!”
I often appear on variety shows but since I have less experience in acting, am I going to be alright acting along the professionals? I was thinking about it. After I had discussion with the director, he said to me just act as BIGBANG’s VI myself. But to gather all Asia’s top entertainers and do shooting, this will definitely going to be fun. It’s a good thing that my company said OK for me to act in the drama (laugh)
I have met Ryo kun (Yamada Ryosuke) during music shows before but during that time we didn’t really talk. I never know he’s a kind person. I think he’s great since he is still young but he leads and has become the center of the drama. And also I was shocked when I know Chun-chan (Wu Chun) is older than me.
My character as Kim Ryondong is playing a delicious role and I think my role give a flavor for the drama. I also in charge of comedy in it. (laugh)
I came to Hong Kong for the first time and the scenery was so beautiful.
For the first time I know that drama shooting starts in early morning and the staffs must be having a hard time.
Creating a good work together with Asia’s top entertainers, so I’m really looking forward to have all of you to watch it. Other than Asia and to everyone around the world, I want them to know, if we work together, a very nice work can be produced.
